DOG FOOD DRIVE
Saving Sunny is asking for you to donate food or host a food drive with your work, neighborhood, or family! All donations will be dropped at PetWants on Frankfort Ave during the month of September.
When you buy food at PetWants they will match it pound for pound. They'll also be offering a 10% discount throughout their store to anyone who brings/buys food, so be sure to shop around while you're there!
WHAT WILL SAVING SUNNY DO WITH THE FOOD?
We offer monthly pet assistance at our Community Dog Resource Center. This food will be going directly to those who need it.
WHAT KIND OF DOG FOOD?
We accept all dry dog food outside of those intended for specific medical needs. Opened and resealed bags are okay. Please no wet or prescription foods.
DO YOU ACCEPT CAT FOOD?
We do not at this time. Please contact Louisville Metro Animal Services or J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter if you want to donate cat food.
DO YOU NEED GENTLY USED DOG BEDS, JACKETS, TOYS, ETC?
We do not need any items other than dog food at this time.
HOW TO HOST A FOOD DRIVE:
1. Download the flyer and/or social graphic below
2. Post in your neighborhood fb page, next-door app, or email
3. Have 1-2 drop spots for your donors to drop off
4. Bring all the food to Pet Wants during the month of September. Last day for drop off is September 31st, 2020.
